Who we are

Hillside Art Studio is a family-run art studio with two convenient locations: Watchung and Summit, dedicated to nurturing creativity for both children and adults aged 5 and above. We focus on small, family-style classes, providing personalized art courses and creative exchange activities. Due to limited space, enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Our courses are tailored to each student’s level and interests, covering a wide range of disciplines, including drawing, gouache, watercolor, acrylic painting, children’s art, illustration, mixed media, comics, art crafts, etc. Our professional instructors provide individualized guidance to help students grow at their own pace.

At Hillside, our teaching philosophy is learning through enjoyment. We create a relaxed and engaging environment where students can explore the beauty of art. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced art enthusiast looking to refine your skills, we offer personalized support to help you achieve your artistic goals.

We primarily serve Watchung and surrounding areas, including but not limited to Berkeley Heights, New Providence, Summit, Millburn, Short Hills, Chatham, Long Hill, Basking Ridge, and Warren.
